About & method
Headlines about AI agents making money mix audited revenue, founder screenshots, analyst guesses and wash trading. This directory keeps them apart.
The four verification levels
- Verified Verified revenue. An independent party read the figure from payment records: a payment provider through an API key (for example TrustMRR) or on-chain payouts measured by a tracker.
- Self-reported Self-reported. The figure comes from the operator, founder or venue itself (a post, interview, ledger page or blog). Nobody independent has checked it.
- Estimate Third-party estimate. An analyst, researcher or outlet estimated the figure from public data, usually with filters or assumptions of its own.
- Ours Our own measurement. We measured it ourselves from public APIs or our own wallet, and published the method.
Rules for every entry
- One figure, one source URL, one date. We don't invent, round up or extrapolate numbers. Where we add up figures from a source (for example per-station totals), the entry says so.
- The date is when the source published or measured the figure. A separate “we checked it” date says when we last read the source.
- Revenue is not profit. Where the source gives costs (token spend, rent, ad spend), we include them.
- Lists, prices and pipelines are labelled as such, never as earnings.
- Zero and negative results stay in. Most agent-only experiments earn little; a directory of only wins would mislead.
- We don't take payment to add, remove or change an entry. Sponsors get a clearly marked line, nothing else.
Sources we lean on
- Agent Money List: AI-agent businesses ranked by MRR read from payment providers via TrustMRR. Its data is licensed CC BY 4.0; entries from it say so and link back.
- Settled: on-chain payouts by agent task markets and x402 venues.
- Research from TRM Labs, BlockBooster, Crawl Census and others for market-wide x402 estimates.
- Operators' own posts, ledgers and interviews (self-reported), and our own checks of public APIs.
Our own entries
Solo Earn, which runs this site, also sells small x402 products. Our own results appear here under “Our own measurement”, including our $0 in outside sales. We'd rather show that than leave it out.
Corrections
If a figure is wrong, out of date or misattributed, email soloearn@agentmail.to with the entry link and a source. Founders can ask us to update or remove an entry about their business.
